Dear Well-wishers and Disciples of HH Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj!
I trust you are all aware of the many projects that His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj is spearheading to benefit ISKCON devotees and to help spread Krishna Consciousness throughout the world. These projects span a wide variety of initiatives, from building a grand temple with a school, hospital, and IT park to a Sankirtana ship sailing across the world to freely distribute the holy name. Through these projects, he affords us (his disciples and well-wishers) a service opportunity so we may render whatever little we have—time, money, energy, skill—in Lord Chaitanya’s mission.
In addition, given his extremely compassionate nature and dedication to Srila Prabhupada, His Holiness paid half a million US dollars in April 2009 to help the ISKCON Governing Body Commission (GBC) settle the Turley case. Acknowledging His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami’s compassion and generosity, His Grace Badrinarayan Prabhu, GBC, wrote: “I don’t think we would be standing here today…if you had not taken your selfless and difficult leadership role in this effort. It is your on-going example that has largely kept this effort alive…” Please note that if the Turley case were not settled and paid in full, many ISKCON temples would be shut down.
As disciples and well-wishers of His Holiness, it is our duty to shoulder Maharaj’s responsibilities and support him financially. It is my sincere hope that ALL of Maharaj’s disciples and well-wishers will step forward to express their gratitude to His Holiness by contributing to his various projects to the best of their ability. No contribution is too big or too small; donate to the best of your ability!
In appreciation of your support, His Holiness will offer the following return gifts:
1. A set of guru-parampara deities with Vyas asanas for a donation of $1001.
2. Those who do not have enough room on their altars Read the rest of this entry »
From Mayapur.com
“…By then, HH Bhakti Charu Swami has arrived in Mayapur. He visited the temple for darshan and he also joined with Chandramouli Swami to dance. But after a while,Bhakti Charu Maharaja sat along with Radhanatha Swami, singing the holy names. Devotees were roaring “Gauranaga, Nityananda” , requesting Maharaj to continue the kirtan but he stopped at 8.30 p.m.
Till then, it was the time for experiencing the taste of “Golekera prema dhana” and after the kirtan,it was the time for “Loving Exchanges”. Suddenly a devotee brought a Maha Garland of Mahaprabhu ( very big garland though!) and offered to Maharajas. Radhanath Maharaja put it on the necks of all the maharajas, hugging each other. What a transcendental sight!”
The following song was written by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur in Gitavali. Recently, H.H. Bhakti Charu Swami sung it in a very sweet melody.
nadīyā-godrume nityānanda mahājana

1) In the land of Nadiya, on the island of Godruma, the magnanimous Lord Nityananda has opened up the Marketplace of the Holy Name, meant for the deliverance of all fallen souls.
2) O people of faith! O people of faith! By the order of Lord Gauranga, O brothers, I beg these three requests of you: Chant “Krsna!”, worship Krsna, and teach others about Krsna.
3) Being careful to remain free of offenses; just take the holy name of Lord Krsna. Krsna is your mother, Krsna is your father, and Krsna is the treasure of your life.
4) Giving up all sinful activities, carry on your worldly duties only in relation to Lord Krsna. The showing of compassion to other souls by loudly chanting the holy name of Krsna is the essence of all forms of religion.
